Decide for Me ("the app") helps you get AI-generated recommendations for decisions. This policy describes what data we use and how we handle it.
Decision content. When you ask for an AI recommendation, we collect the text you enter for your decision, options, factors, custom guidance, and context settings such as risk appetite, stress level, urgency, and reversibility. If you type personal details into the decision itself, those details will be included because they are part of the prompt you submitted. We do not automatically add your name, email, or account profile to the AI prompt.
Account data. If you sign in, Firebase Authentication processes your account identifier, email address, display name, and session information so we can authenticate you and keep your account signed in.
Subscription and purchase data. RevenueCat, Apple, and Google may process product identifiers, purchase receipts, subscription status, and entitlement state so we can determine whether your plan is free, Pro, or Power and whether ads should be removed.
Advertising and consent data. If mobile ads are enabled, Google AdMob and related consent tooling may process your consent choices, ad identifiers, device advertising status, and ad-delivery data needed to serve or limit ads.
We collect data directly from what you enter in the app, from authentication actions you choose to take, from purchase and subscription events returned by the App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat, and from advertising consent flows when ads are enabled.
We use decision content to generate a recommendation, account data to sign you in and manage your session, subscription data to unlock paid features and remove ads, and advertising / consent data to request, deliver, or suppress ads in compliance with your choices.
Before the app sends decision content to a third-party AI provider, the app asks for your permission on the device. Once you allow it, your decision content is sent to our server and then to the active AI provider used to generate the response. Depending on our live backend configuration, that provider may be DeepSeek by DeepSeek, Inc. or OpenAI by OpenAI, L.L.C.
We expect any third party that receives user data for authentication, subscriptions, ads, or AI generation to provide the same or equal protection of user data as described in this policy.
We use Firebase Authentication for sign-in. Their privacy practices apply to account data: Firebase Privacy and Security.
We do not store decision content on our server after the request unless we clearly introduce a saved-history or similar feature in the future. AI output is for entertainment only and should not be used for serious life decisions.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, contact us through the support channel or contact method provided in the app or on our website.
